C&N Adhesion Testing of FBE Flanges Record

The typical operating procedure is as follows:

Operating Procedure

Preparation: Attach the test head (dolly) to the surface to be tested. Usually, an adhesive is used to secure the test head, and drying time is required, which can take a few minutes to several minutes, depending on the adhesive used. Pull-Off Adhesion Test
Set Up the Equipment: Mount the pull-off tester base on the test area and ensure the equipment is stable and immobile.
Set Parameters: Set parameters such as the pull-off rate and maximum test load on the equipment’s control panel. The ATA20 Pull-Off Tester generally has both automatic and manual modes; select according to your needs.
Start the Test: Begin the test by starting the tester. The equipment will automatically pull the test head upward to apply vertical force to the test area.
Record Data: When the adhesion force is broken, the equipment will automatically record the maximum pull-off force and display it on the screen. Some devices also automatically save data for further analysis.

Test Duration

The total time for the process depends on specific testing requirements:
Preparation Stage: Adhesive drying time, typically 5-15 minutes.
Pull-Off Test: The pull-off test generally takes 1-5 minutes but depends on the pull-off speed and coating strength settings.
In total, completing a single test generally takes around 10-20 minutes.
